Vizag as the locals call it is a decent get away from the rest of the world. The Bay of Bengal is not the cleanest in this area so you should avoid swimming at the beach here. If you need to avoid everyone and write a book somewhere then this is the place to be.

Where to stay

The only place you should be staying at in the area is Novotel. The rooms are clean and modern and the food is incredible.

What to do

You could have an entire vacation just staying at the hotel. While the beach is dirty you can take a dip in their infinity pool which is much cleaner.

There is a decent theater within walking distance. If you didn’t want to go for a stroll, Uber is super cheap here so you can go wherever you want nearby for pennies.
